As a member of the Platform Living Wage Financials your organisation will become part of a community that encourages, supports and monitors investee companies on their implementation of living wages and living incomes in their supply chains.
Who Can Join?
Membership is open to institutional investors that:
- Are committed to advancing human rights in global supply chains.
- Support the facilitation of living wages and living incomes.
- Wish to collaborate with peers to share knowledge and build momentum on living wages and living incomes.

- Practical impact: see measurable progress in investee company practices through structured, transparent engagement.
Commitments of a PLWF Member
As a PLWF member, you commit to:
- Participating in plenary and working group meetings
- Leading the assessment and engagement process of at least one investee company per year. This includes a desktop analysis and an engagement call.
- Reviewing the assessment and engagement process of at least one other investee company.
- Take on shared responsibilities for the platform. Depending on capacity and areas of interest, these include work on the assessment methodology, working with friends of the Platform (mainly civil society organisation who have a common goal to improve workers situation on the ground), communication, contributing to the annual report and/or the event organisation.
- Contribute to platform costs through an annual membership fee (up to €2,500, agreed collectively).
Becoming a member
Membership applications are welcome each year during the Admission Period (October – March). During this time, interested investors can attend PLWF plenary and working group sessions as observers, get to know our approach, and decide whether to join.
